Mitutoyo digital calipers, a digital mic, and a digital ball mic. Once you have all those and are comfortable with them, then you'll be able to get the correct SAC shoulder inserts.

Average runout on these fired cases measured .0015. (one and a half thousandths) All of the measurements other than the neck were a very low variance, to the point where neither my mitutoyo caliper or micrometer could measure the difference. Setting the die up to begin sizing operations was a breeze!

The length, using Hornady Compatator 26 with a zeroed Mitutoyo calipers, was 2.210. Charges were weighed on a Satorius Entris scale and all groups were shot off of a bipod and rear bag.
is there a "best" or "better" thickness for necks in regards to longevity, spring back and/or tension? forget about accuracy and pressure for the time. is there a good comparable average that's acceptable? spring back might not be limited to hardness if necks are to thick? if the chamber...
I also measure every round with a set of Mitutoyo calipers and Hornady comparator for seating depth. The only thing I do to the new brass is chamfer the inside and outside of the case mouth and set neck tension.
