In the ninth inning of the Los Angeles Angels’ 6-1 win over the Red Sox, Angels outfielder Mike Trout hit a ball to straightaway center. White tracked the ball up against the wall in center and as he attempted a leaping grab, banged his right foot into the grate that covers the Bleacher Bar.

The Sox toiled against lefthander Reid Detmers, who crafted another gem in what has become a standout season. Across six shutout innings, he held the Red Sox to just one hit, Wilyer Abreu’s soft single with two outs in the first, and one walk, to Caleb Durbin in the second.
